Epoxy floors can be made Smooth and Reflective like glass or Textured as an anti-skid for safety.

[In photos, anti-skid may appear to look like tiny bubbles in the coating, however those are actually small granules of anti-skid, similar to grains of sand. ]

Metallic Epoxy with Anti-Skid

Floor Prep

Prepping the concrete is an essential step to ensure a lasting, solid bond for the epoxy. Diamond grinding or shot blasting are effective methods to open the pores of the concrete. This will allow the epoxy to adhere properly and provide a durable finish.

Drains, Transitions, Doorways & Base

In order for the epoxy floors to be seamless we:

Jack hammer or chisel around drains
Plunge cut floor transitions and doorways and use zinc strips.
Troweled Cove base. For new base or to replace existing rubber or wooden base, we will trowel an 1/8 inch cove base and tie it into the floor to make it seamless with the floor. Base is typically 4 inches tall but can go up to 8 inches, when necessary.
